Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), a legal vacuum filled to address environmental challenges.
Launched in 2017, reflection on Corporate Social Responsibility is a platform for dialogue in order to establish a guide to a CSR public policy adapted to SMEs and companies with Cameroonian capital. This was reflected in the menu of discussions between participants in the elaboration of a draft text that could frame the CSR in the obligation to contribute to the improvement of their environmental framework. The implementation of this guide responds to the legal vacuum observed that pushed companies to carry out social projects that do not fit with their normal activities. In addition, with this project, the country gets on time and makes international standards for the approach of quality and especially the improvement of good governance around companies. This reflection on the CSR, prescribed by the Prime Minister should already find results. For the 3rd platform of dialogue, more than 400 actors from the public, private sector, SMEs, unions, NGOs, associations, academics and civil society got down to clear the draft text on the CSR. . It is to co-construct by Cameroonians and Cameroon, a public policy CSR adapted to SMEs and enterprises with Cameroonian capital.
